Yin/Yang Insight Yoga

This workshop is intended to strengthen your capacity for clear and sustained body/mind integration on a daily basis, and will act as a potential structure for committing to a balanced home practice that can help keep your body healthy with both Yin and Yang poses, your emotions rich with the cultivation of Loving-kindness, and your mind wakeful through Mindfulness meditation. A hand out of all the practices will be included.

Saturday will include a dharma talk, pranayama, Yang and Yin postures including standing poses, twists and reclining yin hip openers, mindfulness of the breath, and Loving Kindness practice.

Sunday will elaborate on Saturdays class with more pranayama, back-bending and seated yin poses for kidney and liver health, as well as a standing flow practice that includes stabilizing and balancing postures. We will also practice Mindfulness of the present moment and a guided gratitude practice.
