Democratizing Trauma Resolution With Nervous System Specialist Irene Lyon

Join Irene Lyon May 19th from 6-8pm at The Center SF. This event is put on by Jenara Nerenberg & The Neurodiversity Project.

Trauma resolution and somatic experiencing are no longer luxury items -- they are critical to mind, body, and spiritual health and one expert in this area, Irene Lyon, has brought the exercises, insights, and takeaways from her field and made them accessible to all through free teachings, writings, videos and more. The Canadian-born Master of Science in biological systems runs the popular Healthy Nervous System Revolution group, teaches only a few in-person workshops throughout the year, and regularly works with the top leaders in the Feldenkrais and Somatic Experiencing fields.

What is the nervous system? How does it work exactly? How does trauma get stored in the body? Irene is a skilled teacher who eloquently and compassionately explains all aspects of nervous system healing.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from Irene and will SELL OUT. Topics to be addressed include high sensitivity, autoimmune issues, chronic fatigue, brain fog, gut issues, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety and more.

Irene will be in conversation with UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center journalist, Jenara Nerenberg, who is the author of the forthcoming book, Divergent Mind. You can find her work in Fast Company magazine, Susan Cain's Quiet Revolution, Elaine Aron's Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) site, Healthline, and elsewhere.

The evening will include both discussion and practice. Reserve your tickets HERE.
