Yoga, Reading, And Writing For Political Action

Join Bernal Yoga this Sunday from 1-4pm with Katy Steadman and Phaedra Bell for their workshop Yoga, Reading, And Writing For Political Action

Increase your wellbeing and heal our world!

Join Bernal Yoga to discover how unifying yoga, reading, and writing practices can set you on your way to establishing a voice and a method for becoming the change you want to see. The somatic practice of yoga cultivates internal alignment, openness, and insight. Reading practices invite you into ongoing conversations about how to have an impact that builds on the wisdom of others. Writing practices extend the somatic and reading practices to invite you into that conversation with your own voice, to reinforce your own wellbeing, and to commit to the actions you will take as you transition back into your daily life. Katy and Phaedra will support you in aligning your wellbeing with ways of interacting with others and having a positive impact.

Bring your favorite non-digital writing implements as well as your mat. Notebooks and pens will be available for purchase at cost in case you forget yours. Yoga mats are always available for rent at Bernal Yoga.

Everyone is welcome! No prior yoga or writing experience needed.
