lululemon's Here To Be + Love Your Brain West Coast Road Tour with Kevin Pearce that ties directly into Mindful March a.k.a. Brain Injury Awareness Month and kicks off this weekend!
For the month of March, lululemon + Love Your Brain are hitting the west coast in a soup-ed up 1973 airstream to create conversation, awareness + connectedness around brain injury. From yoga classes to curated dinner conversations to meditation, each stop will be unique + premiere the *NEW 13-minute Film focused on LoveYourBrain Founder + lululemon Elite Men’s Ambassador Kevin Pearce.*
Known for his 2009 near-death accident, Kevin was at the height of his snowboarding career when he hit his head on the halfpipe, training for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Kevin’s remarkable resilience during his brain injury rehabilitation was brought to life in the award winning HBO documentary The Crash Reel that appeared at Sundance.
Due to the success of the film + Kevin’s powerful public speaking tour, Love Your Brain was born! The non-profit works to support, educate + improve the lives of those affected by traumatic brain injuries, while also focusing on yoga as a way to cope with injury.
lululemon is excited to support Kevin’s Love Your Brain on this West Coast Tour + furthermore via lululemon’s NEW community-based social impact program called Here To Be. Launched in Nov 2016, Here To Be supports, unites and amplifies the work of nonprofits across the globe – like Love Your Brain – to make yoga + meditation accessible to a wide variety of unique communities.
