Join McEvoy Ranch this fall as they celebrate their Bohemian Roses—the wild, free spirits who guide us, nurture us and inspire our own inner beauty. Honor yourself and other yogis worldwide during National Yoga Month as you indulge in a morning of wellness and self-care.
The day will begin by connecting body and breath with strength and flow in a 75-minute yoga practice led by Maile Sivert, renowned yoga instructor and owner of San Francisco studio The Mindful Body. Following a deeply blissful sivasana, you will gather in the courtyard to relax and enjoy seasonal bites from their organic kitchen garden, paired with our 2015 Rosebud Rose.
Next, you will explore the myriad benefits of aromatherapy and essential oils with a stroll through the fragrant gardens led by guest Aromatherapy expert, Alice Duvernell, an enlightened plant and product educator. Alice's formal ethno-botany studies in Paris and varied experiences interacting with indigenous cultures in Brazil led her to the Bay Area where she has been teaching for 9 years. You will stop to smell botanicals and floral notes that inspired the newest scent in our 80 Acres Body Care collection, Bohemian Rose before gathering in their Chinese Pavillion for a DIY workshop.
Putting what you learned from the gardens to practice, each guest will create an essential oil hydrosol to take home customized to meet his/her individual skincare needs
