Debuting with a schedule stacked full of mind-blowing music, hiking, biking, yoga and camping, the three-day Divide Music Festival is a celebration of the adventurous Coloradoan spirit. Kicking off this July 22-24 at Winter Park Resort in Fraser CO, The Divide Music Festival is the perfect all-in-one outdoor music, camping, and adventure-sports weekend.
Nestled in the Continental Divide just 90 minutes from Denver, the inaugural Divide Music Festival has postured itself as the premier Colorado lifestyle event. The festival will feature a diverse nationally renowned lineup including Blondie, Passion Pit, CAKE, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Kid Cudi, The Fray, Miike Snow, JR JR, Bleachers, and Saint Motel as well as a number of up-and-coming Colorado performers such as Gipsy Moon, Foxfield Four, Edison, POPFILTER, and One Flew West to name a few.
“We are creating a one-of-a-kind experience where world-class artists and music fans from across the country gather in the Colorado Rocky Mountains for a weekend of unforgettable fun,” said Jason Ornstein, owner of Team Player Productions and founder of ‘The Divide Music Festival’.
The quintessential Colorado celebration, festival goers will enjoy an unsurpassed mountain getaway experience replete with Colorado craft beers (Odell’s, Great Divide, and Ska Brewing will all be on tap) as well as locally grown Food & Craft vendors. Keeping with the independent spirit of Colorado’s diverse residence, the festival will spotlight a myriad of mountain activities including trail hikes, coordinated bike rides and morning yoga under the majestic Parry Peak and James Peak. Plus as an added bonus, campers will be treated with a “magic carpet” escalator ride back to camping each night, courtesy of the resort’s renowned winter tubing system at The Colorado Adventure Park.
Known best as Colorado's longest continually operated ski resort, featuring over 3000 acres of award-winning terrain, Winter Park is a picture perfect atmosphere for a mountain-centric celebration of this kind. The area boasts over 600 miles of trails devoted to mountain biking and hiking alone. Additionally, the resort offers a number of activities for kids of all ages such as a climbing wall, a 20 hole disc golf course, human maze and over 3,000 ft of heart-pounding adrenaline on the alpine slide.
A range of discounted lodging packages and ticketing opportunities are available on the official festival website including camping upgrades, single day, weekend and three day passes located at www.dividemusicfestival.com.
