The full moon on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 25° Sagittarius at 1:30am is the most important moon phase so far this year. Why? Well, it’s the last Moon phase before the summer eclipse season, which began January 5, 2019. The time between then and now has been one of change, transformation, and alchemy for some.
Not only that, but this Moon also coincides with two aspects that actually mean something expansive and potentially life-altering. Jupiter square Neptune and Saturn sextile Neptune.

We’ve been preparing a completion of sorts. We’ve been shedding. We’ve been working.
As with any Full Moon, it’s time to let go, to release, to purge. And with this one, it’s also time to navigate the expansive awareness and upgrade we are all receiving. It’s also a powerful time to combine practicality with mystical tendencies.
Because the Moon is in Sagittarius, Sagittarius governs higher learning and wisdom, and Jupiter is ruled by Sagittarius. Welcome to your new life. If you want it. If you desire it. You must let go of all the old, all the ties, and all the allegiances you think you need so that you can work into the balance of reality and mystic encounters.
Yes…let go of all of it. This Moon is working for your Divine Mission, your intuitive connection, your soul’s calling. Sounds so esoteric. Yes...that it is.
But that’s only because you can’t see it or prove it; you just have to believe it. Which reminds me – it’s time to upgrade your beliefs. Which ones do you really want to keep and which ones are so darn stagnate? Yeah, those…time to ditch ‘em.
There are a several aspects that are worth mentioning.
Jupiter square Neptune at 18 degrees can expand illusion and diminish your faith and insight. It can bring disappointment and make you question your ability to discern truth. This type of aspect can create an overly optimistic attitude, which could lead to trouble.
Thankfully, Saturn sextile Neptune (also at 18 degrees) gives you a healthy dose of reality that lowers the risk of delusion and deception. It also helps channel curiosity, inspiration, imagination, and enthusiasm, which can be transmuted into hard work toward your dreams and visions. Have patience, be diligent, exemplify discipline, and look at the long term. That’s Saturn. Be optimistic and realistic. It is not the time to take shortcuts.
Before Mercury goes into retrograde, it has a few transits worth mentioning.
Mercury conjunct Mars, which will make you acutely aware of the how. The steps. The ways. The sense of urgency around your desires and HOW to make them happen will continue to be clarified. I know, we must leave it to the Universe…and…it starts with a thought. Mars, the initiator, brings life to your communication.
HOWEVER, Mercury AND Mars opposite Saturn can bring negativity and frustration. The key to staying out of that negativity: stay focused on your gig, your plan, your side of the street.
Mercury also trine Neptune, which brings harmony, sensitivity, and empathy. This can support a compassionate outcome in any estranged relationship (with self or others…)
These positive Neptune aspects help you see the bigger picture. With increased creativity and imagination, you can dream up a better future. With increased intuition, you can fight for your rights and act on your plans to make your dreams come true.
The Moon is conjunct Jupiter, which brings optimism, good fortune, and generosity. Anything related to emotional connection, financial gain, or intimacy that is based on truth, expansion, and happiness… will expand. Be caring, be available, be open, start something new, and then stay connected to the emotions it brings up. If its’ authentic – keep going. If it’s not, let it go. The Moon is conjunct Jupiter in Jupiter’s home sign of Sagittarius.
If Jupiter is conjunct this Moon, then the Sun is opposite Jupiter. Positive vibration, intimate resonance, ascension, a huge opportunity to create powerfully, and a strong connection that will expand you in every direction.
No joke.
Another great thing…Jupiter is in retrograde. This deepens the impact of this energy. It actually gives us space to internalize and integrate all of this. It enhances the effect of the outcomes if we participate in the wisdom and transcend the power of this Moon.
If all that wasn’t enough to light a fire under your butt to get you moving in the direction of your dreams…let me tell you this: The Full Moon lines up with the Galactic Center of the Universe. What does this mean?
Well, it’s the spot where some believe that our Universe ultimately creates from…but I’ll leave that up to the scientists and astronomers…I am just a mystic, after all. I just wait for science to catch up with what I know to be true.
This Moon affects everything…and I mean everything. Whether we know it or not, we are all on a quest for wisdom and truth. And this alignment is supporting us in truly letting go all the belief structures (and energetic shrapnel) of our ancestors, our society, and/or our mind that hold us back from our Divine Mission.
It’s offering up a moment in time where there is a black hole, a vortex, where you can actually drop all your heavy baggage off...and leave it to alchemize, to transmute, to morph into what is real and true for you right now. It’s a shedding like never before…think Phoenix Rising. Think totally rebooting your brain to the latest operating system that actually connects you to the Divine. A massive cleansing just before the eclipses begin. Where every brilliant idea you have ever had begins downloading into your hard drive.
Guided by your intuition, nourished by your heart, manifested by your power. It’s an opportunity to alchemize any old blocks that keep you stuck in order to bring you to a more confident way of functioning in the world.
