The Waking Hour To Open All Day I Dream Of Oakland With Yoga, Ambient Music, And Local Art
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WAKING HOUR
The Waking Hour is a wellness-focused experience produced by a team of local bay-area women that will be returning for a third year to open the music festival, All Day I Dream of Oakland, on September 29th at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland. The Waking Hour will serve as the opening ceremony of the All Day I Dream of Oakland music festival and will consist of guided yoga, live art, massage and an ambient DJ set by Borzu (Deep Blue, Disco Knights) that will run from 1pm to 2pm. The Waking Hour experience will continue after as an interactive arts and wellness area within the park for the remainder of the festival.
This edition of The Waking Hour will be led by yoga instructor, Hayley Ebersole. Ebersole’s yoga practice is inspired by western teachings such as myofascial release therapy and neuroscience, as well as eastern disciplines like Tantric Buddhism and Ayurveda.
In addition to Ebersole, several local bay area artists will be participating in live art demonstrations, including Ryan Anthony Martinez, Nathan Wyman, and Hamid Naemeh. A special ambient DJ set by SF producer, Borzu, will set the tone for the experience. Borzu is known in the bay area for his key roles in the Disco Knights Burning Man camp and Deep Blue Underground Events which throws monthly parties in SF.
The Waking Hour experience is included in the overall ticket price for All Day I Dream which will follow The Waking Hour with internationally recognized DJ’s, Lee Burridge, YOKOO and
HOJ, as well as on-site food trucks and festival fashion vendors.

The Waking Hour is a wellness-focused lifestyle company, founded by Brittany Tilleman in 2013. After nearly 20 years in entertainment and brand marketing, Brittany felt inspired to return to her roots in wellness, having majored in holistic health, psychology and philosophy in college, designing an interdisciplinary major at SFSU.
