Sherpa Power, a new ayurvedic brew from Berkeley-based company Global Family Farms, packs a powerful message in every bottle. Global Family Farms co-founder and VP of Operations Shane Zisman first became interested in social enterprise as a form of environmental and social advocacy after taking a course in social entrepreneurship while in law school. His newfound passion quickly routed him in an exciting new direction.
“Social change happens slowly but always begins on a grassroots level where a local community takes on a progressive initiative and succeeds, then others replicate. In this way social entrepreneurship can be used as a catalyst for change.
